High-speed opto-isolated digital parallel interface: 
Opto-isolated digital input lines (+5 V / 8 mA) to control both WE channels and CE, to trigger measurements of the built-in A/D - converters, and to program the built-in D/A - converters.
Opto-isolated digital output lines to read the WE current ranges of both WE channels and to read the built-in A/D - converters.
Allows remote control of both WE channels and computerized readout of the analog outputs.
Allows manual control of both WE channels and computerized readout of the analog current outputs with correct scaling of IWE depending on the front panel IWE range switch (in the bipotentiostat models with manual operation).
Signal propagation delay:< 75 ns



Software: 
Simultaneous recording of both WE channels, remote setting of parameters in BP-310, and performing potential scans at both WE channels.

The software runs under Windows NT 4.0 / 2K and other Windows derivatives, and runs in parallel to a Windows SPM software, but is completely independent of it.
The software comes with a PC interface card (PCI bus) and a 2 m connecting cable between PC and BP-310.

BP-310 allows you to enhance your SPM system with state of the art electrochemical facilities.BP-310 can be connected to any SPM controller, like the Nanoscope (Digital Instruments (DI)), the PicoSPM (Molecular Imaging (MI)), the Omicron or RHK, or your homebuilt SPM controller.
BP-310 is also designed to connect to any external electrometer as built-in for example in STM or AFM scanners, or to control the electrochemical electrodes in any SECM system.
BP-310 operates also with external frequency analyzers (FRA's) as, e.g., Solartron frequency analyzers, or with other external equipment.
